“Hi Steve, your tour was great, and we mentioned you to a few people that we met during our week in Vancouver. I thought I’d let you know that after you mentioned the chocolate feast at the Sutton Park we made reservations for the following weekend. For $26 we gorged ourselves on an elegant buffet of choc. mousse, crepes, cake, pastries, pies, canolli, profiteroles, cheesecake, etc. and could have drunk ourselves silly on chocolate drinks. It was different & memorable! Thanks for bringing up interesting tidbits like that to spice up our vacation.”

“Jason had chosen a good place to meet near one of Toronto’s main tourist attractions – the AGO which is the acronym for the Art Gallery of Ontario. Since the tour ended here it would be a natural “transition” to take in the gallery since you are “in the area”. We began the tour on a windy, partially cloudy day which later became overcast and then it rained. The timing was perfect because just as we were stopping for a snack at a local empanada shop across from the Jewish grocery store and near the European cheese market, it began to pour! We noshed on our yummy empanadas, talked about the tour and the area, watched the rain come down, and I was reminded of the lovely meat pies and pasties I used to get when I was in Australia… The great thing is that should such an event occur while the tour is going on, there are always shops to go into to get out of the rain. Our guide is very knowledgable about the area as he went to university nearby and currently lives in the area and, as a starving student, he became very familiar with places to get the best and cheapest deals, as he pointed out a number of eateries that sold the “best” dumplings, the “best” noodles, made the “best” sandwich for the money. I am definitely going to have to go back again to the area to experience more of the area and test out some of these “bests”! We saw the graffiti art work that has been commissioned as well as that which is not and how you can see a transition in ability through its style. Then there were the historical details and sites which added some wonderful nuances and flavour to the tour.”

“James was an excellent, knowledgable and fun tour guide. If possible let him know that Nick and Andrea had a great time, and to keep up the good work.”

“It was a lot of fun, and the guide was “off the charts” fun, but it was also very interesting. I am a long time Toronto area native, but nearly everything was new to me. We had a blast.”
- Gord (Beer Makes History Better – Toronto Urban Adventure)
“Had so much fun and Jason was a great laugh, learned a lot and had a great time and tried a lot of nice beers. I would recommend it to anyone.”
- Pamela (Beer Makes History Better – Toronto Urban Adventure)
“Jason was great – very knowledgeable and very friendly. We got to see parts of Toronto we wouldn’t have seen – or wouldn’t have learned about in such a personal way – had it not been for our tour with Jason.”
- Leesa ((Multicultural Kensington Market & Chinatown – Toronto Urban Adventure)
“It was an excellent experience! Found out lots of interesting details and facts about the city and influential people that changed the course of its development. Great atmosphere and a great walk around Toronto’s neighbourhoods.”

“Hi Steve, fabulous tour today. We both really enjoyed it. Your enthusiasm for your city really showed through and made all the difference. If things work out, we are hoping to join you on Saturday for the West End tour.”

“Fantastic (ghost) tour to get you into the Halloween spirit. The tour guide was very entertaining, had a great sense of humour and was a great story-teller. You’ll never be able to look at these buildings and locations the same way again. I definitely recommend this tour.”

“Nous avons visité bien des villes, avons rencontré bien des guides, mais vraiment, cette visite du centre-ville de Toronto animée par Jason a été fabuleuse! Nous avons appris tant de choses et nous sommes découvert une véritable passion pour cette belle cité. We looik for another visit this spring with all the family and want to visit the Kensington Market. Many thanks, Jason, you’re a PRO and you do a grrrrrreat job!”

“Hi Steve: Just wanted to drop you a note and thank you for a great tour. I took the Stanley Park tour on Sept. 29th – with Matthew (I think that was his name). I had called you earlier that day, as it was a torrential down pour and you mentioned that I may be the only person on the tour – which I turns out I was. Matthew was great, lots of fun facts and info and it ended up being a beautiful day at 4pm for the tour. Just wanted to thank you for sending him and please let him know I really enjoyed it! Will do once again, when I come back out sometime next year. Thanks again and I may look into a few of the Toronto tours, now that I’m back home. Can never learn too much about where you live.”

“My wife and I were in town from the Philippines and took this tour. It was great. One of the best walking tours I’ve taken and I’ve taken them on three continents in over a dozen cities. Very informative and friendly, and the tour guide put up with all of our questions. He definitively knew his stuff and enjoys his job and his city. He even brought us by the market and helped us to try some of the local specialities. They were delicious.”

“Jason, our family really enjoyed your Kensington Market and China Town Tour today. It was a topic of conversation for much of our trip back to Buffalo and was a great way to see these areas of the city. The many pieces of information provided were very interesting and presented in an entertaining way. One of the best tours that we have been on in any city. It is great to meet someone with a great attitude who really seems to enjoy what they are doing. Thanks again!! We’ll be sure to look for your tours the next time we’re in Toronto.”

“Jason! Just wanted to give our thanks again for the tours you gave around toronto (we where the ones where it poured down in kensington market but we carried on regardless after a coffee in the blue banana!). Enjoyed the tour, it really made our stay!”

“This tour was really fun! Although I came to Toronto just a few months ago, I could look around many famous places in downtown and I learned a lot about Toronto. Also, Jason, our tour guide, was very nice and friendly
I really enjoyed this tour!”

“I had a great walking tour in Toronto with Tour Guys. Jason was my tour guide. He was very funny, friendly, and helpful. I saw a lot of great places in downtown Toronto – some of which I didn’t know anything about before the tour. There are so many beautiful parks in downtown Toronto! Jason told our group interesting and funny stories – not a bunch of boring facts and dates – although he knew them all as well when people would ask him. He was very knowledgeable about Toronto. I highly recommend this tour.”
- Janet (www.yelp.ca)
“Awesome tour, informative and fun, highly recommended!”
- Jonathan (www.touguys.ca)
“I know already a lot of this wonderful city (Toronto) but I learned a lot by participating a tour with the Tour Guys. Jason was a good guide and made a good job. He gave many information of historical interest with humor and fun. I can recommend this tour to each visitor.”
- Wlady (www.tourguys.ca)
“I took the tour for the purpose of learning about areas in and around City Hall in the downtown core. Jason tailored the tour to what I had requested and changed up our destinations and route just so that I could learn more about what I wanted to know. I also discovered things that I never knew existed in our city like a labyrinth. Who knew?

“I took this (Ghost Tour) with a group of students and we all had a spooky good time! Neil is a great tour guide and his concern for our enjoyment was obvious. I’d do it again in a heartbeat!”
