The City's Newest Brewery District and Incredible Views

Starting in Downtown Vancouver at Waterfront Station, We will take the 13 minute cruise across the Burrard Inlet on the Seabus. Once we are on the North Vancouver side we will explore the famous Lonsdale Quay area which includes sweeping city views, the waterfront and markets. We will venture back in time through the historic Shipyards District and Lonsdale Avenue as we make our way to our first brewery.

We will visit three breweries in the growing Shipyards Brewing District. The three stops will be among the following: Streetcar, North Point, Beere or House of Funk, depending on space and availability. Each stop offers beer options starting from approximately for $2.50 3oz tasters to $10 tasting flights. Taste as few or as many as you would like while getting to know your other tour mates and guide. Each stop has its unique features, whether it’s a behind the scenes look into the brewing process, delicious food, a sunny patio or coffee. There will be opportunities to learn, drink, eat, take photos and mingle at every corner!

By the end of the tour you will have learned about the beautiful mountainous North Vancouver, tried some delicious beer, and hopefully made some new friends. We keep the tour affordable to make it inclusive to all. So even if you aren’t an avid beer drinker you can come along and sample wine, cider or non-alcoholic alternatives.

FAQs

Your tour price includes your awesome local guide, a look into North Vancouver’s history, a walk through Lonsdale Quay Market, visits to 3 breweries and a bonus sweet stop.

No, beer is not included. Compared to all-inclusive brewery tour models that typically charge $70-$80, we charge a base rate of $30 and leave it up to your discretion how much to spend. We recommend $10 at each brewery to optimize your experience, however a sampler beer is as low as $2.50 if you prefer to not consume as much alcohol. This model leaves it inclusive to veteran and new beer enthusiasts, and even those who may not like it!

One of Vancouver’s distinct brewery districts with some of the cities newest locations. Made up of five breweries (Greenleaf, Streetcar, Beere, House of Funk and North Point), this brewery district is very locals orientated, as it’s located in the very community-forward North Vancouver. Other brewery districts in the city such as Yeast Vancouver and Brewery Creek generally are better known but the Shipyards is one of the most exciting, with passionate brewers and owners.
