Choose from one of our Private Tour itineraries or tell us about the type of experience you’re looking for. Together, we’ll build the perfect group outing!

Explore Vancouver’s Waterfront neighbourhood. Beginning at Canada place, we’ll venture to the Marine Building where we’ll appreciate this stunningly ornate art-deco structure. Continuing our appreciation of Waterfront architecture, we’ll head to the Vancouver Convention Center, which is the world´s only platinum certified LEED convention centre and home to TED Talks. This stop is the perfect place to learn about Vancouver’s efforts in sustainability and its goal to be the Greenest City on Earth in 2020. Moving on, we’ll see significant works of public art, take in the breathtaking views over Stanley Park, Burrard Inlet, North Shore Mountains and more from Seawall, and visit the Olympic Cauldron.

Next, we’ll head into Gastown, Vancouver’s oldest neighbourhood. Once a rough part of town, Gastown has been revitalised and, for better or worse, gentrified. We’ll catch you up on Gastown’s role from Vancouver’s early days as a site of lawlessness and tumult to its present status as a vibrant neighbourhood beloved by locals for its culinary scene, boutiques, galleries, and preserved Victorian architecture.

Beginning in Chinatown, we’ll explore the multicultural side of Vancouver. Hear about the storied past of Shanghai Alley and stop into a bakery or grocery to experience the sounds and smells of this vibrant neighbourhood. We’ll then leave the hustle and bustle of Chinatown’s streets behind as we head into the tranquil Dr. Sun Yat-Sen park & beautiful gardens.

We’ll continue our tour into Gastown, where the city was born around a mill, but raised around a bar. At Waterfront Station, learn how the city was founded on a bribe and the railway ruled supreme. After a century of industrial rise and decline the area was almost scrapped for a freeway in the 1970s, but persevered and thrived thrived in this complex, engaging, and always entertaining area of the city.

We’ll start out by visiting some of Vancouver’s most historic and intriguing buildings including the Vancouver Art Gallery, Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, Christ Church Cathedral and the magnificent Marine Building. Explore the Vancouver Waterfront, hear the tales of the Expo 86’, 2010 Winter Olympics and get acquainted with incredible views of North Shore Mountains, Stanley Park and Canada Place. Next, take a stroll through Gastown, where the city of Vancouver began. Take your picture with the famous Steam Clock, meet “Gassy Jack” for whom the neighbourhood is named and wander through the historic Gaoler’s Mews.

While we aim to hit all of our tour stops on our Downtown, Waterfront and Gastown route, we’re happy to customise the tour to your liking, allowing for stops at local eateries*, breweries*, or alternative sites we think will interest you!

*Food and drink are not included in the price of the tour.

Leaving downtown, we’ll head to the Vancouver Waterfront to hear the tales of the Expo 86’, 2010 Winter Olympics and be introduced to a panoramic view of the North Shore Mountains. From this exceptional viewpoint, you’ll also be able to spot Stanley Park and Canada Place!

Next, we’ll head over to Gastown, where the city of Vancouver was born. Pose for a photo with the famous Steam Clock, meet “Gassy Jack” for whom the neighbourhood is named and wander through the charming and historic Gaoler’s Mews. Sit down at a local cafe or restaurant for a break, or try one of the city’s popular food trucks.

Continuing on, we’ll take the Skytrain to Yaletown where you’ll see a cosmopolitan neighbourhood built out of shipping warehouses. Step aboard Engine 374, the first engine to complete the transcontinental journey back in 1887. We’ll then take a False Creek Ferry and cruise the shorelines of downtown Vancouver while your guide introduces you to Science World, BC Place and the famous Vancouver Seawall.

When we arrive in Granville Island, we’ll explore the heart of Vancouver’s arts & culture community. Visit the famous public market, stop in for some sake or beer tasting or enjoy a gelato while you watch a street performer entertain the masses. Your Tour Guy will then bid you farewell, but not before making some excellent recommendations for places to eat, drink and enjoy this beautiful city we call home.
