Explore Vancouver's Key Sites and Best Kept Secrets

Join Tour Guys on a full day adventure through Vancouver and reap the benefits of a local’s insights! Meet your guide at the Vancouver Art Gallery and hear the incredible story behind its architecture. Then, visit Vancouver’s most historic and intriguing buildings including the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, Christ Church Cathedral and the magnificent art-deco Marine Building.

Leaving downtown, we’ll head to the Vancouver Waterfront to hear the tales of the Expo 86’, 2010 Winter Olympics and be introduced to a panoramic view of the North Shore Mountains. From this exceptional viewpoint, you’ll also be able to spot Stanley Park and Canada Place!

The Old Becomes New in Gastown & Yaletown

Next, we’ll head over to Gastown, where the city of Vancouver was born. Pose for a photo with the famous Steam Clock, meet “Gassy Jack” for whom the neighbourhood is named and wander through the charming and historic Gaoler’s Mews. Sit down at a local cafe or restaurant for a break, or try one of the city’s popular food trucks.

Continuing on, we’ll take the Skytrain to Yaletown where you’ll see a cosmopolitan neighbourhood built out of shipping warehouses. Step aboard Engine 374, the first engine to complete the transcontinental journey back in 1887. We’ll then take a False Creek Ferry and cruise the shorelines of downtown Vancouver while your guide introduces you to Science World, BC Place and the famous Vancouver Seawall.

Markets & Much More in Granville Island

When we arrive in Granville Island, we’ll explore the heart of Vancouver’s arts & culture community. You’ll be amazed at the transformation that an old industrial island underwent to become one of the most visited destinations in Canada! Visit the famous public market, stop in for some sake or beer tasting or enjoy a gelato while you watch a street performer entertain the masses. Your Tour Guy will then bid you farewell, but not before making some excellent recommendations for places to eat, drink and enjoy this beautiful city we call home.
