Tours during COVID-19 recovery
Safe, socially distanced walking tours in Toronto, Ottawa, and Hamilton!
WE ARE OPEN!
We are offering a limited selection of public tours during the re-opening and recovery from the global pandemic.
LIMITS AND COVID-19 RULES
We follow all COVID-19 guidelines as per government and public health protocols.
Since our group sizes are limited, we ask that you make a reservation online to guarantee a guide will be at the starting location and that you will have a spot on the tour. During this pandemic recovery period, a guide will not be at the tour start without anyone booked. It is recommended that you book at least a day in advance. Tours with existing bookings will remain open to reservations right up until the last minute.
(ALMOST) FREE TOURS!
Due to government mandated limits to our group sizes and the slow recovery of international travel bringing us few guests from outside the country, we have decided to offer what are normally our free tours for a small booking fee (approximately $6) which helps Tour Guys cover our marketing and administration costs. Charging this small fee also ensures that our guests commit to attending the tours they book.
STILL TIP YOUR GUIDE!
The tour guides who lead the public tours are not paid by Tour Guys, and still rely on our guests' generous tips for compensation.
Tour Guys is the official partner of Intrepid Urban Adventures in Toronto and operate tours for them. The tours cost more but include food and drink, are longer (3 hours) and are done in much smaller groups (max 12, but usually around 6-8 guests) for a more in-depth and engaging experience!
PRIVATE SMALL GROUP TOURS TOO!
We are also offering small group private tours, which have a cost attached and aren't tip-based, but afford a much more personal experience, customized to your group. On those tours, when you book, you get the guide to yourself! We ask that you contact us at least a few days prior to your tour so we can arrange for a guide and have them contact you before the tour to discuss the meeting point and other details.
