What to Expect

Welcome to Old Town Toronto—the heart of the city’s early history and one of its most flavourful neighbourhoods. This Urban Adventures tour blends iconic Canadian snacks, local storytelling, and beautiful historic streets into one relaxed afternoon walk. Operated locally by Tour Guys, this is our “greatest hits” version of the area: the most-loved stories, the can’t-miss foods, and the highlights guests always remember.

You’ll begin outside the Hockey Hall of Fame before stepping into Brookfield Place, one of Toronto’s most photographed interiors. From there, your guide leads you through early market streets, heritage buildings, public art, and historic sites connected to Toronto’s working class, newcomers, and early city builders. At St. Lawrence Market, you’ll enjoy a peameal bacon sandwich (vegetarian version available), a freshly roasted coffee, a Canadian butter tart, and a taste of ginger ale—each with a story behind it. Your tour ends at a welcoming neighbourhood pub where you can relax, ask for recommendations, or enjoy an optional local beer. It’s a delicious way to experience Toronto’s past and present in one afternoon.
