Taste of Downtown Yonge: Spring bites!
Step into spring on Yonge Street, when the city shakes off winter and remembers how to linger again.
This 2-hour guided walk (5:30–7:30 PM) begins at Salad King* and winds through Yonge and its side streets, finishing near Sankofa Square. Along the way, you’ll visit four to five local restaurants and businesses, with a mix of food and drink tastings that reflect the lighter, brighter energy of the season.
Led by an experienced Tour Guys guide, this isn’t about racing between bites or memorizing dates. It’s about noticing. We look at how Yonge Street wakes up in spring, patios reappear, foot traffic shifts, and the street starts behaving less like a corridor and more like a place again. You’ll hear stories, sure… but also get a feel for how the neighbourhood actually works when people choose to stay a while.
